"The Sap Run 5K is a non- competitive, fun run/walk to raise money for the fight against cancer in St. Lawrence County. Be sure to bring the whole family along to see syrup making in action (weather permitting). If the weather doesn’t allow boiling to take place, don’t worry, there will be plenty of samples of maple syrup, maple candy and maple cream."
Hosted by Honey Dew Acres, this 2015 fundraiser was in honor of Sami Curtis, an active board member of the St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund who has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the cause. Events: included a Horse Show, Bouncy House, Carnival Games, Cake Walk, Pony Ride, Wagon Rides, Quilt Raffle and Chinese Raffle.
Fobare's Fruits 5k is an annual, non-competitive fun walk/run to raise money for the fight against cancer in St. Lawrence County. Be sure to bring the whole family along for a fun filled day at the orchard! There will be many friendly activities including u-pick apples, music, playground and activities for kids and the Kangaroo Jump will be--jumpin!!! Live auctions follows the Walk/Run.
Founded in 1979, the Edward I. Moses Walk/Run for Life has been raising money toward the local fight against cancer for decades! Thanks to the sponsorship of local businesses we are able to reward participants with prizes, goodie bags and t-shirts while still keeping every dollar raised in St. Lawrence County. To date, the E.I. Moses Walk/Run for Life has raised almost $1.5 MILLION which has been distributed to local charities.
